Cassidy Boone
A graduate of the School of Toronto Dance Theatre, Cassidy Boone grew up in Mount Pearl, training at Revolutions Dance before entering the Quinte Ballet School of Canada full-time. She also has taken summer intensives at the School of Alberta Ballet, Peggy Baker Dance Projects and ProArteDanza. Cassidy has received a number of awards including the Lindy Green and Sam Chaiton Student Bursary and the Nuvo Dance Convention, Breakout Artist award. Since joining Kittiwake Dance Theatre, she has toured and performed extensively in various productions and works. In 2022, she participated in Canada's National Ballet School’s' Leadership, Empowerment, Action, Dance program (LEAD) exploring leadership theory and practice through dance. Most recently Cassidy received the role of choreographer through Kittiwake’s RBC Emerging Artist Program. She is so excited to keep growing and learning with her students and fellow teachers.
